Stephanie Kennedy

Stephanie Kennedy is a licensed and certified Occupational Therapist, having received her Master’s in Science degree from Thomas Jefferson University and her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Temple University. Stephanie has worked in a variety of settings – including schools for children with special needs, group homes for residents with mental health challenges, and skilled nursing facilities to rehabilitate people with physical injuries.

Occupational Therapists help people across the lifespan participate in the things that they want and/or need to do in everyday activities. Occupational Therapists have a holistic perspective, in which the focus is on adapting the environment to fit the person. Therefore, whatever is important to the child or adult is what becomes the focus of their goals, interventions, and treatment.

In a creative-arts based setting, these options are nearly endless!

Since her childhood, Stephanie has truly loved the creative and performing arts, and was formally educated in dance, fine arts, ceramics, gymnastics, and even stilt walking.

Being a part of the team at The Center On Central allows Stephanie to blend her passion for the arts with her Occupational Therapy education and training.
