Allison centers clay on the pottery wheel
COME SPIN OUR WHEELS!
The Center on Central offers instruction in both handbuilding and pottery wheel, suited to a variety of different ages and levels of experience. You will find descriptions of regularly scheduled weekly classes and open studio time listed below.
In addition, you can schedule a 90 minute, private, workshop-style class at a cost of $60 for private session, or bring a friend and pay $50 each, or bring 2 friends and pay $40 each for the class, plus $10 per person for supplies.

"Try It" classes debut February 6th!

Ever wanted to learn how to center clay on a pottery wheel? Or to learn sketching or acrylic painting techniques?
Join us on any Monday in February, in either the 5:30pm-6:30pm time slot, or the 6:30-7:30pm time slot (or both!).
Cost is $20 for one hour of instruction, or $35 for two hours of instruction. You can mix and match media (one hour each) and either choose to spend your two hours consecutively or on two separate Mondays.
Try It classes are open to adults only (ages 18 and over).
Please note that a minimum of two total hours over two separate weeks would be required to finish a pottery piece and glaze it.

– Oil Diffusers / Candle holders
– Mirrors and Frames
– Garlic / Oil Dipping Bowls

Up to 60 minutes per week of open studio time is included, on a space-available basis, for adults enrolled in our 90-minute weekly classes.
Additional Open Studio time is available to any currently enrolled student at the rate of $10 per hour, plus $30 for supplies (which includes a 25 lb. bag of clay, as well as glaze and firing of this clay).
Open Studio time is also available to the general public, after taking part in a pottery workshop/assessment at The Center on Central – at the rate of $40 per 90 minutes, plus $30 for supplies (which includes a 25 lb. bag of clay, as well as glaze and firing of this clay).
Open Studio time is available by reservation only; in order to sign up for Open Studio time, please complete the contact form or call us at 610-710-1487.
