Mike Mahoney is a board-certified music therapist (MT-BC), working at the master’s level. He recently graduated from the Drexel University Music Therapy program, based out of the Hahnemann Hospital. Mike’s work throughout his education – both on his thesis and his field work placements – have highlighted his work with children and adolescents.

Since high school, Mike has participated in numerous recording projects and live performances. He has 15 years’ experience with both the guitar and the drum set, and he enjoys using his computer to create and record original music as well. He is also an avid music fan, with experience in the music industry, on the radio, and writing for various publications. Mike is excited to be putting his experience to work in a variety of ways at The Center on Central.
