Providers - Michele Hayes (Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer)

Michele began her career as a Pilates instructor in 2004, soon after being diagnosed with osteoporosis. While hoping to continue weight training and cardio, Michele found that her condition did not allow for such intensive exercise, and began looking for a way to strengthen her body safely so that she could return to many activities she once enjoyed.
Michele soon began taking Pilates classes and discovered that regular Pilates training helped her with her low back, neck and wrist pain. Michele’s interest in Pilates deepened when she met her instructor and mentor Lisa Annino, who encouraged her to take Pilates one step further and study to obtain certification. Michele received her training from Meghan Jackson, owner of the Pilates Body Center and continues to pursue advanced studies in Pilates at the Pilates Body Center. In addition to her Pilates instructor certification, Michele also holds a Pilates for Golf Certification - with concentration in balance, stability and core strengthening.
Michele hopes her clients leave class feeling strong and invigorated after a great workout and ready to face whatever challenges they encounter. Michele knows from her experiences as a student and now as an instructor that as you begin to see results, you too will appreciate the benefits of Pilates training!
