The Center’s Program Manager is Katie Opher.  Katie earned her Master’s degree in Creative Arts Therapy from Hahnemann University (now part of Drexel University, where she serves as an adjunct faculty member) and has been in practice for 20 years.  She is an expert in the field of child development and Creative Arts Therapies.  Katie founded a non-profit in 2000, called Creative Arts for Everyone ® and has administered a grant from the Department of Human Services in the City of Philadelphia for 15 years, managing and supervising a groundbreaking program which provides Creative Arts Therapy services in the supervised visitation program in the Family Court of Philadelphia.  Katie has also provided music integrated with social skills development to individuals and groups, in private practice and also in local schools.

Katie and her husband Ron are co-owners of The Center on Central, as well as co-owners of the Young Rembrandts art program which serves most of Chester County and parts of Delaware and Montgomery Counties (www.youngrembrandts.com/chestercounty).
